Dr. Maya Bachour has been practicing dentistry since 2005. Her mother is also a dentist; becoming a dentist has been a lifelong dream. Dr. Bachour’s mission is to make every patient look and feel their best. It is her priority to provide compassionate and excellent dental care in a state of the art dental setting, ensure optimal clinical results, and at the same time to provide a positive, personalized and warm experience for her patients. From Dr. Bachour, you can expect connection, communication, fully explained treatment, and gentle hands.

Dr. Bachour received her Doctorate degree in General Dentistry (DDS) from Loma Linda University in Southern California. She also completed a Mini Residency in Dental Sleep Medicine at Tufts University in Boston and received a Qualified Dentist Designation (QDD) from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Bachour is committed to the highest level of education with over 100 hours of continuing education every year.

She is a longtime advocate for complete health dentistry, her commitment to which is featured in her first book, “Save A Smile, Save A Life: How Complete Health Dentistry is Revolutionizing America”.

Dr. Bachour is an award-winning dentist, being selected as one of America’s Top Dentists over numerous years by the Consumers’ Research Council of America, she was featured in Virginia Living magazine as Top Dentist multiple times and has been a recipient from Nothern Virginia Magazine and Washingtonian Top Dentist. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and Dr. Bachour represents Virginia with inclusion in Renowned Publication, “The Leading Physicians of the World”.

Outside the office Dr. Bachour enjoys spending time with her daughter, Marla, and their family and friends! When she has the chance, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cuisines.

Dr. Vogtle Ninh obtained his BS in Biology from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2008. During his college career, he spent many hours observing dentists help patients enjoy the self-confidence of a bright and healthy smile. Thrilled with how dentistry was able to improve a person’s overall well being, he continued his education to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Maryland Baltimore College Of Dental Surgery in 2012.

With a special interest in oral surgery, Dr. Ninh was selected to complete a yearlong clerkship in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Maryland Dental School. Through the clerkship he was able to gain additional education and experiences in oral surgery.

Dr. Ninh continued to advance his education by completing a 2 year residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School. His residency training allowed him to gain additional experiences in many aspects of dentistry involving cosmetics, oral surgery, endodontics, and dental implant placement and restoration.

Because of his depth in experience with general dentistry, he was selected to become a faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School to continue and teach other dental students.
