Founded by brothers Dr. Tamer and Dr. Sherif Elhady-a general dentist and orthodontist with eight children between them-Hero Pediatric Dentistry was born from a shared vision to redefine pediatric care. Taking over the legacy of Dr. Lezley Mcilveen’s practice, they built a patient-centered home where prevention and education take center stage. Dr. Long Pham is dedicated to the care of his patients. “It is important to me, to help patients have and keep a healthy and beautiful smile.” He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Association.

Education and Training

​Dr. Long Pham grew up in the area attending Beech Tree Elementary School, Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, Glasgow Middle School, and St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School. He then had a wonderful education and experience at Virginia Tech and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to receive his D.D.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, formerly known as MCV School of Dentistry, where he graduated among the top of his class.

Dr. Long Pham is Invisalign certified and trained in Lumineers and Snap-On Smile. He has placed many successful dental implants and extracted 3rd molars (wisdom teeth) with ease. Dr. Pham is very proficient performing root canals, fillings, and crowns. In fact, local dental lab technicians say his “crowns and impressions are the BEST out of ALL the dentists” they work with.

Dr. Long Pham pursues the best continuing education courses and reads plenty of dental literature to keep up with the latest advancements in dentistry. He loves to educate his patients and provide them with the highest standard of care

Dr. Long Pham regularly volunteers at the Northern Virginia Free Dental Clinic and Mission of Mercy dental service projects because he feels it is important to help the underserved with dental care. Giving back is very important to him, and that is why he devotes a lot of time into great causes. Dr. Long Pham is an Eagle Scout, and received his Woodbadge Leadership Training for adults. He is currently an Assistant Scout Master of Troop 612 in Falls Church, VA.

Dr. Long Pham and his wife, Dr. Erica Sok, live in Sterling, VA and have two daughters, Ava and Bella. Dr. Erica Sok, is a practicing dentist as well. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.

About Dr. Anna Murphy, DDS

Dr. Murphy, originally from Poland, spent most of her teenage years in Northern Virginia. She graduated from Edison High School in Alexandria and went on to study Psychology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from VCU (MCV campus) in Richmond.
