About Dr. Mohamed Arafa, DDS

Dr. Mohamed Arafa provides general dentistry and advanced implant-focused care at Advanced Dental Care of Fredericksburg.

Dr. Arafa completed his undergraduate studies at Cairo University in Egypt before attending dental school at Columbia University. He continues his dental education and training regularly and has completed advanced education in general dentistry as well as a fellowship in implant dentistry.

His advanced implant training includes implant placement and restoration as well as training in mini dental implants. Dr. Arafa has placed more than 2,000 implants in his career so far.

Dr. Arafa has practiced in the Fredericksburg area for more than 12 years and received the Top Dentist award for general implant dentistry in 2013. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Arafa enjoys aviation and has earned his license as a private pilot. He also has two daughters with a passion for music and sports.
