About Arin Abrahamian, DDS

Dr. Arin Abrahamian is a general dentist who combines advanced training, comprehensive treatment planning, and honest communication to make every appointment as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Dr. Abrahamian was born and raised in the DMV area. He completed his dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, the world’s first dental school, and continued his training in New York City through a General Practice Residency at NYU Langone, a level-one trauma center.

After being honored as Resident of the Year, he was selected to stay as Chief Resident, focusing on advanced restorative and surgical procedures including full-mouth rehabilitation. He has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education and is on track to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Abrahamian has practiced in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. He also served as an attending dentist at NYU Langone, where he trained multiple classes of residents in all aspects of dentistry and was honored as Attending of the Year.

As Team Dentist for the Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, and Capital City Go-Go, Dr. Abrahamian works with team physicians and athletic trainers to address dental and facial injuries and provide ongoing care for players, coaches, staff, and their families. He is available at both the Vienna and Washington, D.C., LenzSullivan offices.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Abrahamian enjoys fishing, hiking, skiing, food and wine, traveling, and spending time with his wife Tanya, family, and friends.
