About Dr. Jim Lee, DDS, MS, MPH

Dr. Jim Lee is a board certified orthodontist at Alexandria Orthodontics, proudly serving Alexandria, Springfield, Lorton, Woodbridge, and surrounding communities.

Dr. Lee was born and raised in the Carolinas before moving to Charlottesville, VA for high school. As a freshman at George Washington University in Washington, DC, he began teaching in DC public schools, grades K-12, and started five educational programs for children and young adults.

Continuing his teaching career after college, Dr. Lee moved to Boston to pursue a Master of Public Health with a concentration in adolescent health and social and behavioral sciences.

He then began his dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating with top honors and earning initiation into dentistry’s prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.

Dr. Lee completed his orthodontic specialty training at The Ohio State University, where he earned a Master of Science and a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, watching football, building computers, and working out.
